Cocoa Butter

OMGHHKP! Thank you so much for posting this! I have bad stretch marks and Bio-Oil doesn't work very well for me so I'm going to try some of these! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI have been using biooil on my acne scar since jan nd i have not seen any improvement on my acne scars
DeleteYou're obviously a Blair Fowler fan huh? lol
DeleteDear jessica, perhaps u might wanna try this, dunno if it works to u, but its helped me a lot. Squeze a lemon to get the juice into one container, put sugar until its become a paste, scrub it to ur stretch mark, leave for 10 min n rinse, apply moisturizer.u may keep the remaining in your fridge, n repeat everyday b4 shower..u will see the result as early as 1 week.
Delete* im actually making a diy glycolic acid
I am sure it will work for you :D
ReplyDeletecan i apply the 1st solution or the 2nd solution all over my face including my under eyes fr my dark circles i have?
ReplyDeleteYes, of course you can. I did that too :D
ReplyDeleteI have a black spot on my eye.. can i use aloe vera with cocoa butter stik ???
Deletecan i do it morning and nyt? is it really normal part of my face that i put turmeric and yugort turns red? but it feels soft and clean.. and amaizingly wonderful..
ReplyDeleteI usually used to do it after I come back from school but yea you can do it at night and You only have to do it once a day :)
ReplyDeletethanks krishna, i've tried it twice a day though morning and nyt just yesterday..and it felt my face so soft and supple my husband even recognize this facinating results because i'm mostly just here inside our apartment. i guess i'll have to continue it until they're gone. Is it ok if i put some camomile tea with little bit of honey after the turmeric thing? coz it soothes my skin..and my skin now's clearer! thanks to you and the camomile! ;)
ReplyDeletei am really glad it worked for you :) .. for the honey and chamomile tea make sure you dont get an allergic reaction because some people do :D
ReplyDeleteHi Krishna, I stumbled upon this blog when I was looking for a solution for my panda eyes AKA dark circles. Very interesting, I'm going to try it. Btw, when you said scars here, does it apply to face scars only or for all kind of scars? I have old & new scars from mosquito bites on my legs, make me a bit uncomfortable to wear skirts & shorts. Applicable for this DIYs or not? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteYou can do this on all types of scars and not only for the face :)

DeleteWhich would you suggest for keloid scars? They are red, painful, and raised.
DeleteI have keloid scaring. Nothing I've found helps short of steroid injections by my dermatologist. High moisture products help a little with the constant itchiness, though.
DeleteI have been using Epiduo and I have every scar known to man from acne scars and it has taken so far about 6 weeks but my chest has cleared up immensely. I'm slowly starting my back now. My chest is about 45% clear of scars. Even the shallow scars with coloring are losing the color and are almost looking like they're filling in. My keloids on my back have almost smoothed out and it has only been about a week and a half.
DeleteEpiduo does cause irritation and red skin and can make your skin blotchy but after your skin clears up it starts to stop itching and lose that blotchyness. When I get pimples on my face from my period and apply it, they disappear the next morning. It does take time. It took my face about 6 months to clear up and to lose most of the scarring but it was worth it. It looks like I'm wearing make up now everyday and I have a nice blush to my cheeks. I definitely recommend it. All you have to do is go to your Dr. and ask them to prescribe it to you. There's also a thing you can get to wear the Rx cream is only $35 and it lasts you about 3-5 months depending on how much you use at a time and how big the infected space it.
It has actually become very popular since about 5 months ago and I have been using it since the beginning of January. Check it out. It's called Epiduo.
Elizabeth.... I had a very bad keloid scar from a surgery incision.... I used a very inexpensive Vitamin E lotion from Wal-Mart/Walgreens etc... and its almost gone.
DeleteI recently bought turmeric powder and I don't know what to do with it. Well I think I should try your recipe to put good use with the turmeric. =)
ReplyDeleteYes you definitely should. Turmeric can be used in countless ways. So don't waste it :)
ReplyDeleteI have a black eye .. can i use aloe vera with cocoa butter stik too bring thee color back ???
DeleteCan I use 3% fat yogurt?
ReplyDeleteYou can but only if your skin type is oily. If you have dry skin then I'd recommend more fatty yogurt :)
ReplyDeleteShould i use the first solution if i have a oily skin?
ReplyDeleteYea you can but if your skin is oily then use fat less yogurt :)
DeleteHow come scar and stretch marks aren't categorized as the same thing?
ReplyDeleteIts because they are not the same thing. They are caused by different things if you know what I mean :)
DeleteWhich solution works best for stretch marks and how long before you see results?
ReplyDeleteI would say the cocoa butter works the besstt. It depends how long it takes.. usually if you do it twice a day, it will take around 2-3 weeks but if it doesn't DO NOT give up :)
DeleteI'm definitely going to be doing this on the scars on my knees!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck :)
DeleteI'm so excited to try some of these! I have some pretty awful scars on my knees I'd like to clear up!(; Thanks so much for posting this!
ReplyDeleteI had them too :( but luckily they are no more :) hope it works for you too
DeleteWhat works best for acne scars?
ReplyDeleteI would say cocoa butter and aloe vera :)
DeleteThank you! Let me give it a shot! Let u know how it works out.
DeleteWon't the turmeric powder stain your skin? Since it is used also as a dye?
ReplyDeleteNo it won't because it works different on skin than hair. It stains hair but not the skin since the tissues are different. I hope that makes sense :)
DeleteWhat works best for stretch marks?
ReplyDeleteCocoa Butter :)
DeleteHow long does it take for the stretch marks to go away witht the treatment of cocoa butter?
Deleteumm.. well it depends on everyone but i would say about 2-3 weeks but it can take longer depending how old your marks are :)
DeleteI have tried cocoa butter with no results. Ive also used the Bio Oil and aloe Vera which i live by!!! Ive used them throughtout my pregnancies and dont have one stretchmark. They both provide good moisture, which is essential for your skin. Another part of stretchmarks is heredity..so if ur mom has them, u may just be destined as well. On a happier note, my mom does not, but my sister looks like she invented them!! Ya never know :)
DeleteIm 14 years old and i have some stretch marks right under my hips, they aren't too noticeable but when the light hits them you can easily see them and gosh its so embarrassing! would cocoa butter still be the best thing for these stretch marks? also i have a huge terrible scar on my calf and knees, the knees are from a vverryy long time ago but the calf one was about a month or so ago. what would work more effective and efficiently?one last thing i have had no real problems with acne until last year of course i have only two acne scars though and i was wondering what would quickly and permanently make those suckers disappear?
ReplyDeleteThanks
I would really recommend you cocoa butter mixed with shea butter if your stretch marks are very noticeable and for your scar just use pure cocoa butter and this should work.. you can use the turmeric paste for acne scars :)
Deletethankyou!
DeleteWhat solution works the best for dark circles?
ReplyDeletetry the aloe vera :) i can always trust it :)
DeleteI think I'll try one to help my stretch marks pin my tummy, they're pretty old so how long do you think it will take? And which do you recommend?
ReplyDelete*on
DeleteI think it will take 3-4 weeks atleast. I would recommend the cocoa butter :)
DeleteI have deep horrible acne scars. I know one of my only options is to get the laser treatment but it is very expensive so that is not an option for me right now. Would one of these options work best for acne scars?
ReplyDeleteAns so you know how well it would work if it looks like i have dents in my skin?
DeleteDuring my pregnancy I used pure cocoa butter religiously every day twice a day. Well I developed heinous stretch marks. I continued to use the cocoa butter despite this and here I am, 6 months later and they look as bright as the day they arrived. I'm going to have to disagree with its effectiveness!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have to continueusing the cocoa butter because it doesn't show the results until 2-3 weeks
DeleteCocoa butter was not effective for me either despite using it during pregnancy AND for several months post partum. NO one in my family has ever had them either. I was the first to be 'blessed'. So, unfortunately, you are not alone.
DeleteI agree. I used cocoa butter all through my pregnancy and postpartum. Still a hot mess. Only one in my family with them too.
DeleteI've had 3 babies in 5 years. And for the last 5 years, the ONLY lotions I've used for my entire body (except face) are pure cocoa butter, and cocoa with shea butter. I lotion 1-2x a day. I have HORRIBLE wide stretch marks on my hips from baby #1 and hundreds of smaller stretch marks on my stomach and thighs from all 3. Although they've since turned white as stretch marks naturally do, they're still very, very visable.
DeleteCocoa butter will NOT get rid of stretch marks (actually, neither will aloe) STRETCH MARKS ARE PERMANENT! They may fade, but they are permanent - don't believe me ask your doctor - my doctor said she could make a fortune if she had the secret to get rid of them. Used pure cocoa butter from the time I was 6 wks pregnant and still use to to keep skin soft 3 yrs after. They don't go away. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you can see from the string of comments above that I'm not alone.
DeleteTry Mederma. It helped my surgery scars fade, and is said to be good on stretch marks. I have a lot of stretch marks on my hips, but i haven't bothered with them. I'm just a tiger who got her stripes.
DeleteI have some stretch marks that I have had since puberty and I am now in my mid twenties. I too had no luck with coco butter. The only thing I have found decent success with is exfoliating the areas everyday with a GOOD body scrub and following up with bio-oil rubbed in circular motions. It hasn't gotten rid of mine, but has made a noticeable difference! Good luck ladies :)
DeleteUnfortunately, there is no treatment to get rid of stretch marks... there are a couple of things you can do reduce the appearance and soften the scar... exfoliate regularly then hydrate with a serum or aloe... get a professional chemical peel.
Delete2 babies in 2 years and now stretch marks. While pregnant i can't stand the smell of cocoa butter, so i stuck to my bath and body worls lotion which has vitamin E in it and stayed hydrated...and the biggest key to not getting those annoying things...gain weight gradually :) good luck! But i recommend pure vitamin E
Delete...oops meant *2 babies in 2 years and NO stretch marks! :)
DeleteI tried Mederma years after having my babies. It helped fade them. I'm sure if I had continued they would be gone, but I stopped since I ran out & don't mind my battle scars :)
DeleteStretch marks are permanent yes, but they can fade and with the right lotion the thin skin of the marks can actually build up.i tried everything that was sold in stores and nothing seemed to work no matter how many times and how long I used them. If these diy do not work, try the stretch mark cream from avon. I used it when my daughter was 9, so mine were pretty old. It helped so much. I highly recommend it. I'm going to try the aloe for my dark circles under my eyes though :)
Deletemy friend used preparation h for her old stretch marks, for about a month or two every night. it worked wonders on her!! It didn't get rid of all of them, but it tightened her skin and made them look 100x's better AMD even made most of them go away.
DeleteI get a kick out of people who say stretch marks are permanent. I actually got rid of my stretch marks applying pure coconut oil daily to my skin and consuming 3-4 tablespoons internally. It took nearly a year but was totally worth the effort and persistence. They were over 20 years old and white.
DeleteI have all the 3rd ingredients so i am trying that as a face mask now , i shall let you know if it works :-)
ReplyDeleteWell stretch marks are usually a hereditery issue. If people in your family get them you will too. Despite how much cocoa butter you used during pregnancy. I didnt use anything while pregnant and got a grand total of 2 of the tiniest/whitest stretch marks ever... Good luck, amd theres always mederma if you havent had luck the natural route
ReplyDeleteWhat works for ezcema scars on my left arm? I tried everything aloe Vera, cocoa butter, olive oil. Except turmeric. Can you please recommend something? My skin looks like alligator skin raised white ugly!
ReplyDeleteTry using shea butter if you have dry skin and if it doesn't work then mix turmeric with yoghurt and apply on the areas:)
DeleteStrawberry leaves mixed In vasilene is great for that, and preperation H cream helped mine more than anything
DeleteI agree about the heridty. My sister used coco butter daily with both pregancys and she is very tiny to be stretched so far and no strech marks. I on the other hand did not and did develop them. But I do not look at them negatively they are a mark of motherhood
ReplyDeleteI agree about the heridty. My sister used coco butter daily with both pregancys and she is very tiny to be stretched so far and no strech marks. I on the other hand did not and did develop them. But I do not look at them negatively they are a mark of motherhood
ReplyDeleteWhat product works best for stretch marks, and will it get rid of them from 20 years ago. I gained a lot of weight with my first child, and it doesn't matter how much weight I loose, I still have the stretch marks. They really bother me and I have them really bad. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt might be difficult if they are 20 years old but use cocoa butter 2 times a day and in shower put the turmeric paste on for 2-3 mins. It should make a difference :)
DeleteI like th is blog site also poor you’ve sonumerous unrelated comments.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you have anything for birthmarks? I have a really big one on my leg that I got lasered several years ago but it only helped for a short time. We really don't have the money to do anything expensive. It'd be nice to be able to wear shorts and skirts without being asked what happened to my leg.
ReplyDeletei will definitely do a poston this topic :)
DeleteI have really dark stretch marks on hips and thigs and nothing seems to work
ReplyDeleteWhat brand of cocoa butter is the best to use?
ReplyDeleteUse pure cocoa butter otherwise use palmers cocoa butter :)
DeletePalmers has alot of different kinds from the kind in the bottle or a round container. Does it really matter?
DeleteAs long as it says "for scars" on their container, it will be fine :)
DeleteWhat works best on scars that r so deep that the skin bumps up?
ReplyDeleteTry the silicone sheets if its a raised tissue :)
DeleteI had some warts surgericly removed a couple of years ago off my hands and arm and I have horrible scars from it and also it's a bit embarrassing, which one d you think would be best to use?
ReplyDeletetry aloe vera or cocoa butter :)
DeleteWhat would you recommend for reddish or purplish acne scars on my face? They are all from the past year or so, not too old.
ReplyDeleteIf they are that old you can use aloe vera :)
Deletehow long do u think it would take for the Aloe to work on stretch marks??
ReplyDeletewell it depends on how old your scars are :)
DeleteMy friend has scars on her arm from cutting. She has been healthy for a long time now but wants to help them go away. What option would work best?
ReplyDeletecocoa butter :)
DeleteHow long do you see results for using Aloe vera gel for dark circles?
ReplyDelete1-2 weeks :)
DeleteThanks! :)
DeleteDo you put it on once a day?
DeleteYea just once a day
DeleteWhat would you recommend for lightening the skin on my knees. The skin is dark and rough.
ReplyDeleteI have a post on that :) here's the link>>
Deletehttp://diybeautytutorials.blogspot.ca/2011/08/diy-8-ways-to-get-rid-of-black.html
I really hope nobody is buying this nonsense. I am a MLT, I study things in labs for physicians. These are all just speculations. There is no proof whatsoever to the effectiveness of any of these things listed. The sad truth is that stretch marks will NATURALLY fade for some people, eventually whether they waste their money on products, or not. And then there are the other type of people that will ALWAYS have darker spots/scars/tears(what a stretch mark actually is!) no matter what. It is all upto your genetics at a cellular level. Please, educate yourselves.
DeleteYou stated it's up to your genetics st a cellular level, us there any way to increase that? Do you know if Merderma works?
DeleteWell I have never tried it so I can't really say anything about it unfortunately :( Sorry
DeleteWhat is the most effective under eye circle remover?! Thank you!
ReplyDeletei think its aloe vera
DeleteI always keep a aloe vera plant in my garden, when my daughter was 10 she was in an accident and was very badly scrached, my husband would cut the aloe vera leaf in half and put it on the open cuts she is now 18 and has no scars.
ReplyDeleteWill definitely try...........
ReplyDeleteMy 11 month old her hand two days ago I have been using aloe is that the best thing for that!? And with the turmeric paste does it burn? V
ReplyDeleteCan I use it on a baby!?
yea i think aloe is better for babiess :)
DeleteHii! Which one do you think is the best one for teenage strech marks? Thanks (:
ReplyDeletecocoa butter :)
DeleteHi im only 20 and i dont really get scars they heal on there own but i had my 2nd child a year and a half ago and my stretch marks are showing no signs of reducing ?if i try your methods could i try more than one at once?
ReplyDeleteyea i think you should give it another chance :)
DeleteAnything for black heads??
ReplyDeleteHeres a post I did on Blackheads >>
Deletehttp://diybeautytutorials.blogspot.ca/2011/09/diy-4-ways-to-get-rid-of-blackheads.html
I tried to go here but it didn't work
Deletecan you suggest something for acne blemishes on the face? thanks
ReplyDeletehere's a post for that >> http://diybeautytutorials.blogspot.ie/2011/08/diy-get-rid-of-that-pimple-overnight.html
DeleteI tried to find this blog to find out about how to get rid of blackheads but it was not found. Can you tell me where to go to find it.
DeleteThere is a searchbox on the home page of my blog on the right hand side :)
DeleteUGH THIS INFORMATION IS WRONG!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry if it didn't work for you but as it did on me, I thought to share it with everyone. People are different so somethings might not work on them but don't be disappointed there's always something out there for you :)
DeleteI have scars that just skin discolorations now. Theres no bumps Just discolored. What's a good mixture to apply and how long do I use it to see results? I had them since I was a kid...about 30 years ago...
ReplyDeletewow thats a really long time. You can try cocoa butter but I am not sure if it will work on that old scars. You can try aloe if that doesn't work :)
DeleteI have the same problem but mine are new discolorations... I'm 20 and i'm guessing they are from acne. I am very sensitive to things breaking my face out so i'm worried about the cocoa butter breaking my face out. Should I just try the aloe vera and see how it works or have you had any experiences with cocoa butter breaking people out?? I also have a new scar on my chin from falling and getting stitches, since it's a new scar it is raised. What should I do about that?
DeleteCocoa butter never broke me out but I suggest you to use aloe vera since it is really good for acne AND scars. If you have a raised scar then ask a dermatologist :)
DeleteLets say I wanted to make a skin cream for daily use on my skin for scars. (i have alot of scars from being a tombod and hundreds of mosquitos bites that i recieved last summer). What would be the quantity of tumeric, olive oil, n cocoa butter to make a large amount? Atleast 16 oz
ReplyDeleteYou might wanna try a small amount to see if you are satisfied with the results. Then you can make a huge amount otherwise it will be a waste :))
DeleteOk .... Well for a small amount
Deletecan lemon juice mix with extra virgin olive oil help make old strech marks disappear? I have lots of silver strech marks.
ReplyDeleteOkay Im in no ways trying to be mean or negative but I worked in an operating room with a very respected plastic surgeon and through my conversations with her throughout my work with her there we came across this topic of stretch marks. I asked her if there was anythingny could to get rid of stretch marks any type of cream such as bio oil or mederma or any home remedies. She told me quite bluntly she has had women coming into her office for years with the same question and she all you will do is waste time and money she told me " you might as well just write me out a check for a few thousand dollars" she told me they are scars and the creams might help eventually fade the lines but you will never be rid of the. Unless you have surgery to remove a lot of skin. You can help try to prevent stretch marks by applying lots of lotion but if y already have them you cannot get rid of them.
ReplyDeleteWell... I went to a special type of therapy... where they'd inject a solution to the stretch marks, which would make them smaller (it caused the walls of the skin to come closer, hence make the stretch marks smaller)... so at least I can say that THIS works... I thought the same as you do since I talked to many dermatologists about this... but they do not know about all the power the nature has... there might be a way to get the damaged cells out of the body... after all, lots of money are being poured into this research... so why not try it? I certainly do not feel like giving up... I am 20, had stretch marks ever since I became a woman because it is hereditary and my mom had them... all my life I kept my weight down and it still did not help... I also asked similar question below... but all I am saying - this person is not trying to sell anything, just giving tips on how to help... and doctors do not know everything... I almost lost the ability to have children because of one doctor's stupidity... so - let's hope is all I am saying...
DeleteKate
This is very interesting... all dermatologists told me that it is impossible to really get rid of scars (stretch marks) since they are damaged cells in really deep layers of the skin... that I can only make them smaller, but never disappear... does this really work? And which of these possibilities are best for a] dark circles, b] stretch marks? Thanks a lot... I had gone through a lot of hell because of genetics (I am actually quite slim but I still got stretch marks on my breasts and butt)... I even had special solutions injected to make the stretch marks smaller... it hurt like hell... went to it about 20 times... it helped, but there are new scars etc. So, I'd really like to know if it is possible to do something about it...
ReplyDeleteKate
Hey Enid I know that coconut oil is really effective for babies and people with eczema so you might want to give it a shot! :)
ReplyDeleteTurmeric is amazing for so many ailments as well as a preventative medicine. I had never heard of using it for stretch marks but this spice is so wonderful, I wouldn't be surprised. It is an anitinflammatory agent as well as a anti carcinogen.
ReplyDeleteI put fresh squeezed lemon juice on my face before I put on moisturizer it tightens my skin, reduces pore size and evens the skin tone.
ReplyDeleteI have really bad stretchmarks on my hips (childbirth). They have been there over 12 years. Will any of these really work?
ReplyDeleteEvery one is diff. I can't tell without knowing your skin. So just give it a try. Theres nothing to lose :)
DeleteBrilliant ! I am definitely going to try these. Also have a look at castor oil, that's supposed to be amazing !
ReplyDeleteWhat works best for scars from bug bites all over my legs? Homecoming is in 3 weeks and I want them gone by then if it's possible
ReplyDeleteTry pure aloe vera every single day and they should be gone by then :)
DeleteBest thing for expecting moms to prevent stretch marks, DURING pregnancy, only speaking from my experience with 3 pregnancies and no stretch marks, a cream called Mothers Friend. I got it at Walmart from the pharmacy but it's not a prescription. :)
ReplyDeleteI used Mother's Friend during my pregnancies as well. By the time I was expecting the second time around, I had to ask the pharmacy to order it for me. I never got the first stretch mark from either pregnancy. It was suggested to me by a mother who had no stretch marks after having four children. Best advice ever! My mother and both of my sisters had stretch marks from their pregnancies, but they didn't use any products to try to prevent them. (Unfortunately, I gained weight about 4 years ago. Thank goodness I've lost most of the weight, but now I have stretch marks on my hips... uugghh. Wish I would have been paying attention and applied the Mother's Friend I used during my pregnancies)
DeleteI'm 51 my dark circles which are not horrible are related to age, will cocoa butter work for that?
ReplyDeleteI have used Made from Earth's Aloe & Jojoba Creme Therapy for about 8 wks after delivery/pregnancy. The stretch marks are less noticeable by both color and smoothing of the texture. It is a bit pricey, but I'm buying another bottle in hopes to continue the progress. It is better than regular mederma - and sometimes I have forgotten to apply it, but it still seems to be working.
ReplyDeletei have dark scarson my lower stomach from shaving BAD IDEA. what should i use, they're about a year old
ReplyDeleteuse aloe vera. if you are definitely sure they are from shaving then aloe will surely help :)
DeleteI have 3rd degree burn scars on the tops of my hands and a skingraft scar on the front of my thigh from 40 years ago, is any of this really going to get rid of those?
ReplyDelete40 years is a very long time but you won't lose anything if you just give it a try. Use cocoa butter :)
DeleteHey I really need help:( I have pimples around my face that really make me feel soo uncomfortable... If I use the tumerick, wouldnt it turn your skin color yellow/orange?
ReplyDeleteWell I don't know how it works on white skin but you can give it a try for once. It stain won't stay for long. After 2 or 3 washes, the yellowness should go away :)
DeleteI swear by Bio Oil. I used to pick scabs as a kid and now they're just dark spot scars and I've been so embarrassed by them. I've been using Bio Oil for about a month now and they are very clearly fading! I'm so happy with it. By next summer when shorts season comes around again I'll be all for it!
ReplyDeleteHey I have had these dark scars on my leg for about 4 years now & I would really love to wear pretty dresses & go to the beach & show my legs off. I've been very uncomfortable about my legs & sadly I've been wearing skinny jeans everyday of my life now. I was wondering which product would work the best & the fastest? Please I need help! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI would say try Palmer's cocoa butter :)
DeleteThere is a way to get ride if stretch marks. Check out the site c4nh.com it is the center for natural healing. They have a natural non surgical procedure to get rid of stretch them
ReplyDeletei have two main problem 1 is my stretch marks and second is this dark spot that i have on certain areas what do you recommend i should use i was reading the comments for all this but a wondering does it really works
ReplyDeleteIt depends if the dark spots you have are really scars then they might go away with cocoa butter or aloe. GIve it a try :)
DeleteI have tried everything under the sun for my 10 yr. old strech marks and I've found that 100% Shea Butter is best the thing, they're fading rapidly and exercise is helping too.
ReplyDeleteWhich of the 2 remedies for dark cirlces is best, why? Mine are dark and always there! no matter how much sleep I get...
ReplyDeleteAloe is the best :)
DeleteNothing makes scars or dark spots or stretch marks "go away" or become removed sad to say. I'm a bio student and had a full years course on genetics and tissues although some products may reduce the appearance of them they will not fully disappear. With that said I have used some of the products mentioned and have seen results but stopped using it due to my busy life and now i am back to square one.
ReplyDeleteIf u r a bio student u must know about the nipple area that why does it turns into ugly brownish color after pregnancy and is there any remedy to lighten the color.
DeleteI am a bio student in school lol. So I don't really know about that much but you should consult a skin care dermatologist or some one you know :)
DeleteHi I'm 7months pregnant and I'm using Shea butter for my stretch marks and I would like to know about how to tighten the loose skin left over the belly after pregnancy
ReplyDeleteI think gram flour mixed with yoghurt can help you with tightening the skin :)
DeleteThnx krishna Patel plz if u also tell me abt the lightning of nipples area.wht should I do to lighten my nipple area?
ReplyDeleteI've heard that after pregnancy the vagina also loosens so is there any remedy to tighten it and also the breast becomes sagging after breast feeding
ReplyDeleteI am not really sure about this. Sorry but I think you should consult a doctor :)
DeleteHello,i had bites from sand flies which gave me red and black spots ,i want to know if Aloe vera can clear the spots? What do you think?
ReplyDeleteHi, I have dark scars on my legs from shaving. Which remedy do you think would work best?
ReplyDeleteCocoa butter :)
DeleteU couldnt even reply my question if aloe vera can clear dark and red spots gotten from sand fly bites, thats rude of u to ignore it
DeleteI am really sorry. There is something wrong with my laptop actually. And yes aloe vera can clear away dark red spot because it has inflammatory properties :)
DeleteOkay thank you very much
Deletei have a light black spot on my nose what can i do 4 it. i cant get these type of material .plz...
ReplyDeleteI don't have any better materials for this cure to be honest. You cna buy online if you want :)

ReplyDeleteI have eczema scars all over my body since i was a kid, I am ow 17..
ReplyDeletewhat will work best for that? also when I was outside fooling around with a friend not long ago I got an embarrasssing mark on one of my boobs.. I really want it to go away so that I can wear a llow (not really low) cut shirt again and soon! I was thinking of trying the tumeric mixture since it said 2 weeks, will that work on my embarrassing mark the best and quickestÉÉ pleaaseee help, eczema scars all over is bad enough..
I think you should use cocoa butter if they are really bad. Turmeric is good if you have scars that was almost disappearing. And dont be embarassed because you dont know but LOTS of people have them. I get hundreds of emails from people in a week asking me solutions to get rid of scars so don't worry about it :)
Deletehi :) i have these old scars/dark spots on my legs since i was a kid. and i hate them so much in almost 16 years of my existence :'( huhuhu it lessens my confidence :/ i'm very shy to wear shorts, mini skirts and even dresses -_- i've broke up with my boyfriend 'coz am afraid that he'll leave me if he knew that i have scars on my legs :( Even my lovelife failed because of these scars. it hurts! -.- what's the best remedy for this? (i'm so sorry, i have so much dramas) thanks for infos ^_^ Godbless.
ReplyDeleteSheena I am really sorry to hear that but you shouldn't worry about it. Because if a guy really loves you then he won't even mind that. You can use cocoa butter for that :)
DeleteThanks for your reply ^_^ by the way how to use that cocoa butter? is that a cream or a lotion?
DeleteI've used Mederma on old & new scars since June of this year & they have all faded/smoothed out considerably. I still use it on any scars that look pink/raised until they turn brownish. I also used Palmer's cocoa butter on my prego belly this year, gained 40lbs very gradually (I'm a small girl, 5'3" 120lbs normally), but since all the women in my fam got stretch marks, I still managed to get a small amount. Mederma has a stretch mark formula that I've been using on my belly & boobs since I delivered (3 months now) & it is giving me the results I hoped for....fading marks. I also tan, so w/ that I can't notice my stretch marks unless I'm really looking for them. I researched stretch marks & accepted that they are definitely hereditary, can't really be prevented, definitely permanent (they're tears in the connective tissue under the skin itself), & take time to fade. Ladies who have them, they're your motherhood stripes, so do what you find necessary to make yourself feel better about having them, but accept them as a part of your body.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. :) How much is that Mederma? and where to buy it? ^_^
